 When we go out, let’s face it we drink to have fun, party scenes are all about that. Now, we drink too much to let loose and brag but we tend to lose ourselves and forget our limits resulting to a big mess, throwing up and embarrassing happenings which I’m afraid to say is part of the experience. 

Drinking is a rite of passage especially among men today and with their constant need to become the alpha of the pack, every drinking session turns into a “Last Man Standing Contests”.

If you know that these slap happy moments are not worthy of the impending hangover that will greet you next morning, just say no or pass, throwing up is never attractive and we don’t want our drunken stupor to be immortalized on Instagram , Facebook and much worse Youtube.

Since each of have our own set of limits, we should know them to have less regrets from a drinking extravaganza. What seems like a very solid idea to your drunk selves might result to a nightmarish morning to your Post – Debauchery self. So here are some tips for longer drinking endurance and 
curing hangovers.

What is Hangover?
Hangover is a symptom of the detoxification of alcohol out of the body.
 Symptoms
  • Fatigue
  • Sensitive stomach
  • Headaches
  • Dehydration
  • The shakes

What are some of the Hangover cure?
Drinking coffee helps the tolerance to elevate the pain.
Coffee -By  dilating blood vessels, which helps get rid  headache quicker and, it perks up brain functions, so you would be alert if its too acidic and your stomach is sensitive with the over time drinking add sugar and milk to make the drink mild .

Eggs - has cysteine,  it helps with the kidneys to cleanse the body and with the prothine the and fats the alcohol will breakdown the fats and protein before your stomach, preventing acid reflux

Coconut water – its hydrating, and  full of potassium

Fruit - the sugar in fruit—helps to naturally boost the body’s energy that  it increases the rate at which the body gets rid of alcohol’s toxins." The fiber from fruit also aids your body in breaking down and absorbing the remains of last night’s beers, plus—because booze can have a diuretic effect—you'll restore the vitamins and nutrients

Green tea - is packed with antioxidants, which keep your body’s cells healthy. This means a healthier liver, which will help you recover faster. If you’re feeling nauseous, add rosemary or lavender to your tea—they’ll calm your stomach fast.

Cayenne tea- Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin that stimulates the system to increase the heartrate and metabolism even sweating.

Sports drinks –like propel water It’s full of fluid-balancing electrolytes, which is exactly what your body needs.

Pre activated charcoal – it will just help the recovery by absorbing the toxin in the stomach and other nutrients so be aware of this fact.

Banana -has potassium and it help the body to metabolize the ethanol by helping it breakdown ethanol.

Sugar – it helps metabolize alcohol and give energy to the body .

In the Philippines we call this “sundot”. Basically, you have to drink again to mask the pain of your current hangover. This was proven by the “Bloody Mary” which contains vodka.

 Taking a cold shower when having a hangover, this most commonly use to sober up and ease discomfort and improve alertness .

·         Drinking  sugar free soft drinks can also contribute of having an hangover
·         Not drinking   a glass of water before sleeping especially when wasted. .Without proper hydration your body will have difficulty in recovery and might experience heartburn the next day.
·           Drinking on an empty stomach. Food slows down the  body’s alcohol absorptions. (i.e., fatty foods such as meat)
·         A tired body that is not in shape will have more problems metabolizing alcohol in the end .

Given the fact that most energy drinks have 30% caffeine content, the alertness and extra energy to party rewards you with more endurance to drink the night away. But after the effect wears off, one has to face the higher chances of dehydration, exhaustion, high blood pressure and a more severe hangover due to the quantity that you managed to imbibe.

·         Reduces blood flow to muscles - This can lead to muscle aches, most notably when a person recovers from the alcohol (the "hangover").

Factors of alcohol tolerance 

Weight: the bigger the person the higher the water in the body so less alcohol.

Level Of Fitness:  more macula more water in the system and fats do not absorb water

Age: Total body water also tends to decrease with age, so an older person will be more affected by the same amount of alcohol.

Exercise: exercise increases the metabolic rate on the one hand, while associated increases in breathing rates and air volumes increase the flow of alcohol across the lung, caused the alcohol to be expelled with breathing

·         Eat fruits like a banana

·         Only happy thought when drinking to prevent being angry

·         Only drink when you’re happy because alcohol will make you more depress if not avoidable control and drink only a small amount.

·         Being fit will be a great key to drinking without hangovers

·         Tip your bartenders well because they know a great dill on the cocktail that your drinking

  3. There are so many ways of preventing hangovers. But not all of them are scientifically supported, except Detoxicated. I personally use this and found it very effective. My friends and family have tried it as well, and absolutely love it! hangover drink
